Proton to source body panels for new model from Ingress
Five-year project to commence in the second quarter of the financial year ending 31 January 2015
Ingress Technologies, a 70%-owned subsidiary of the Ingress Corp., has won a contract from Malaysian component supplier PHN Industry for the development and supply of body panels for a new Proton model, reports The Edge Financial Daily. Ingress Technologies, which will act as a tier-two supplier for PHN Industry, will supply front and rear side structures and a roof module under the contract, which is worth MYR107.5 million (USD34.4 million).
