Toyota to increase domestic output by 10% in April
Toyota will raise its domestic daily production in April by around 1,000 vehicles to a little over 13,000, and it is considering maintaining that level in May.
Toyota says it will increase its domestic output in April by around 10% from its original plans to accommodate higher-than-expected sales and increased exports due to the yen's depreciation, according to a Nikkei report. As a result, the automaker will now raise daily production in April by around 1,000 vehicles to a little over 13,000, and it is considering maintaining that level in May. Toyota will make a decision on its production levels for June and beyond based on market trends.
