Latest Managerial Appointments for 2012
Autoliv announced that its Chairman, Lars Westerberg has decided to resign from the company’s Board of Directors. Westerberg will be leaving Autoliv after spending nearly 13 years. He became President and CEO of the company in February 1999. Eight years later, in 2007, he was elected as Chairman of the company’s Board. Autoliv has elected Lars Nyberg as its new Chairman at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the company on 20 December 2011. Nyberg has been a director of the company since October 2004. He is currently President and Chief Executive Officer of TeliaSonera, a telecommunications company and the Chairman of DataCard Corporation, a company dealing in secure ID and card personalisation. Nyberg has held several leadership positions at other companies including Philips and NCR Corporation.
