How automotive lighting market in India is evolving
The Indian automotive lighting market is catching up to global trends, but a stronger push is needed.
Earlier this year at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, held in New Delhi, India, several automakers present in the Indian market unveiled their new vehicle models, equipped with advanced lighting systems, including full LED headlights and taillights, daytime running lights (DRLs), front and rear light bars, and illuminated logos. Tata Motors, for example, presented its lineup of Nexon, Safari, and Harrier SUV models, each featuring LED headlights and taillights, DRLs in the front, and rear light bars. Some models also featured a front light bar and illuminated logos in the front, rear, or both.
