Forge Battery plans to use the $100 million to expand its North Carolina lithium-ion battery gigafactory production capacity to 3 GWh per year
Forge Battery, the commercial lithium-ion battery production subsidiary of Forge Nano Inc., has finalized award negotiations for $100 million in non-dilutive funding by the US Energy Department (US DOE) Office of Manufacturing and Energy Supply Chains (MESC), the company announced Jan. 21.
