Canada pauses its iZEV incentive program for ZEVs
The iZEV Program led to an increase from 3.1% in 2019 to 14.2% in 2024, with 546,000 vehicles benefiting
The Canadian government has halted its subsidy scheme for electric vehicles — Incentives for Zero-Emission Vehicles (iZEV) Program — Transport Canada announced in a press release on Jan. 10.
