US Transportation Department awards $123 million to California for charging infrastructure

The funding comes through the Federal Highway Administration’s Charging and Fueling Infrastructure Grant Program

The US Senator for California Alex Padilla announced Jan. 6 that the US Transportation Department (DOT) will award $122.9 million for six California projects to build zero-emission vehicle charging and fueling infrastructure, including over $55 million for medium- and heavy-duty zero-emission vehicles.
