Nio, Xpeng respond to EU tariffs on EV imports from mainland China
Xpeng is currently evaluating the feasibility of establishing local manufacturing capabilities in Europe and is open to taking appropriate steps to meet market demand
Electric-vehicle makers from mainland China – Xpeng and Nio – have shared their official comments for the first time after the European Union announced the implementation of additional tariffs on made-in-China EVs imported into the EU last month. These additional tariffs are imposed from July 5.
