BASF withdraws plan to invest in nickel-cobalt refining facility in Indonesia

Earlier in 2020, BASF and Eramet had signed an agreement to jointly assess the potential of a project focused on refining critical battery materials in Indonesia

German materials supplier BASF announced June 24 that the company will no further evaluate a potential investment in a nickel-cobalt refining complex in Weda Bay, Indonesia.
