UNIGRID Battery raises $12 million in Series A funding round
UNIGRID will use the proceeds from the funding round for accelerating and scaling up its battery production to meet MWh-scale customer orders across electric mobility and stationary storage sectors.
UNIGRID Battery has successfully closed Series A funding round, raising $12 million, the San Diego-based startup specializing in advanced sodium-ion battery technology said in a press release June 13. The funding round was co-led by Transition VC and Ritz Venture Capital. The round also show participation from new investor Union Square Ventures and existing investor Foothill Ventures.
