The lithium recovery technologies licensed to Element3 include membrane extraction techniques and new separation methods

A total of seven technologies for lithium recovery developed by scientists from the US Energy Department's (US DOE's) Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) have been licensed to Element3, a Texas, US-based company focused on extracting lithium from wastewater produced by oil and gas production, ORNL announced May 7.
