Volkswagen to merge New Mobility and Technical Development divisions from April 1
The merger is part of the carmaker’s larger strategy of integrating some of the key elements of its passenger car brand into the technical team
Continuing to restructure its global operations, Europe’s largest carmaker Volkswagen announced Jan. 29 that the Volkswagen Passenger Cars brand is trimming its board of management and that its New Mobility and Technical Development (TE) divisions will be brought together with effect from April 1, under the leadership of Board Member for Technical Development Kai Grünitz.
