French government cuts EV subsidies by 20% for high income buyers

France is not alone in curbing EV subsidies as Germany also ended its EV subsidy program in December 2023

The French government has reduced its electric vehicle subsidies aimed at accelerating the adoption of battery electric and hybrid vehicles by 20% specifically for high income buyers, according to a news report published by Reuters on Feb. 13.
