Toyota partners with TSMC to secure chip supplies for electric, autonomous vehicles
According to a report published by Nikkei Asia on Feb. 6, Toyota Motor will invest in Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co.'s (TSMC) Japanese subsidiary to fund the construction of a second chip plant in Japan's Kumamoto prefecture, the two companies.
