European Commission approves €659 million French state aid for EV battery startup Verkor
The Renault-backed battery startup Verkor has committed to actively share the technical know-how gained through the project with industry and academia
Under EU state aid rules, the European Commission has approved a €659 million French measure to support battery startup Verkor in researching and developing new production processes of lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries for electric vehicles, the commission said in a press note issued Oct. 30.
