RFAB2 is the first wafer fab in the US and the fourth worldwide to achieve this certification from the USGBC
Texas Instruments (TI) announced that its new 300-mm semiconductor wafer fabrication plant (fab) in Richardson, Texas — called the RFAB2 — has achieved the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification under version 4, according to a press release on August 29.
