LG Energy, Huayou Recycling to form a battery recycling JV, build two plants in China
LG Energy will be able to secure a stable supply of waste batteries and battery scraps on the back of the planned JV with Huayou Recycling
South Korean battery-maker LG Energy Solution (LGES) announced August 8 that it plans to set up a battery recycling joint venture with China’s Zhejiang Huayou Recycling Technology Co. Ltd., which is a subsidiary company of Huayou Cobalt.
