Around 10 million vehicles reach their end-of-life stage every year in India

Carmakers in India may soon have to use 20% recycled materials of the total weight of metals they use to produce a vehicle from 2026–27 under an upcoming policy, according to a news report published by The Economic Times Auto on August 2.
