Safety and ease of use helping higher adoption of e-mirrors in cars
E-mirrors, mostly available in luxury cars, will likely see higher penetration as they provide a lot of improvements over the conventional mirror, making them vital in today’s highly digitized and connected vehicle environment.
Mirrors inside and outside the cabin are considered safety critical features for drivers, and over the years mirrors have been seeing some advancement in terms of design and the addition of new tech. However, there has been a visible shift in the once modest mirrors, with the coming of electronic mirrors or e-mirrors, which score high in advantages vis-à-vis the conventional mirrors used in today’s vehicles.
