South Korean battery manufacturers LG Energy Solution, Samsung SDI and SK On are the battery suppliers to about 8 out of 10 electric vehicle models that have qualified for the tax credits under the US Inflation Reduction Act, according to a news report published by The Korea Herald on April 20. The report cited industry sources behind these observations.
