LG Energy to invest US$5.5 billion to build a new battery plant in Arizona
The plant will produce cylindrical batteries for EVs and LFP pouch-type batteries for ESS with a total annual capacity of 43 GWh
LG Energy Solution announced an investment of approximately 7.2 trillion South Korean won (about US$5.5 billion) to build a battery manufacturing complex in Queen Creek, Arizona.
