Stellantis and Samsung SDI start construction of EV battery plant in the US
The construction is likely to be completed by the first quarter of 2025 with an initial annual production capacity of 23 GWh
Stellantis and Samsung SDI started the construction of their joint venture electric vehicle (EV)Â battery manufacturing facility in Kokomo, Indiana, with the raising of the first piece of steel that will form the structure of the new gigafactory, it said in a press release dated March 22.
