Statevolt plans to set up a 54-GWh battery plant, which it estimates could produce batteries for 650,000 EVs per year
Statevolt, one of three lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery cell development companies founded by Swedish entrepreneur Lars Carlstrom, has bought a 135-acre site in Imperial Valley, California, where it plans to build a 54-GWh battery plant, according to a news report published by Renewables Now on 24 January 2023.
