AMD adaptive computing technology powers DENSO’s next-generation lidar system

AMD has announced that its adaptive computing technology is powering DENSO’s next-generation lidar platform, according to a press release on 19 January 2023. The new platform will enable over 20X1 improvement in resolution with extremely low latency for increased precision in detecting pedestrians, vehicles, free space and more.
