Toyota limits orders for Lexus due to chip shortage in Japan
The company has capped the number of orders allocated to each dealership
According to a report published by Nikkei Asia on 18 January 2023, Toyota Motor is limiting orders of its Lexus luxury car in Japan. As the shortage of components, including in-vehicle semiconductors, is expected to continue through 2023, the company has set a cap on the number of orders allocated to each dealership.
