Pony.ai secures permit for driverless autonomous vehicle tests in Beijing, mainland China
Ten unmanned test vehicles will begin testing in a 60-square-kilometer range
The Beijing Intelligent Connected Vehicle Policy Pilot Zone has granted permission for second-phase (front-row unmanned and rear-row manned) tests of unmanned autonomous driving, with Pony.ai among the first batch of approved enterprises, according to Pony.ai’s WeChat account on 22 November 2022.
