Kumho partners with Technip to produce recycled styrene-based tire rubber

The recycled styrene-based rubber will be used to produce high-performance, eco-friendly passenger vehicle tires.

The European Rubber Journal reported on 25 November that South Korean synthetic rubber and chemicals manufacturer Kumho Petrochemical had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with French engineering and technology company Technip Energies to license a plastics recycling process enabled by US recycling technology company Agilyx.
