The investment will increase the natural rubber capacity of northeast India to 600,000 metric tons by 2032

The Economic Times reported on November 4 that tire manufacturers Apollo Tyres, CEAT, JK Tyre and MRF will jointly invest USD135 million (INR11 billion) over the next five years to increase rubber plantation capacity in India as part of a project being implemented by the Automotive Tyre Manufacturers' Association.
