GM expects to build 400,000 EVs in North America from 2022 through the first half of 2024

US carmaker General Motors Company estimates that its growing EV portfolio will become profitable in 2025 in North America as it will scale up its electric vehicle (EV) capacity in the region to more than 1 million units per annum, the company announced on 17 November 2022, on the sidelines of an investor meet in New York.
