US DoE announces USD74 million funding for EV battery recycling and reuse projects

The announcement builds on USD2.8 billion through President Biden’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law for domestic battery processing and component manufacturing and supports President Biden’s goal to have EVs make up half of all vehicles sales in America by 2030

The US Department of Energy (DOE) has allocated a funding of about USD74 million to advance technologies and processes for EV battery recycling and reuse, the DOE said in its official release on 16 November 2022.
