Steel Dynamics selects Mississippi site for planned 650,000-ton aluminum mill
The location was selected due to its proximity to the competitive customer market and the company’s existing steel mill in the region
US steel producer Steel Dynamics (SDI) announced via press release on 2 November that it had selected Columbus, Mississippi as the location for its previously announced greenfield state-of-the-art, recycled aluminum flat rolled mill.
