Shanghai opens first batch of expressways for autonomous vehicles
Shanghai will have completed over 800 km of intelligent expressways and intelligent urban roads
The first batch of expressways for autonomous driving in Shanghai was officially opened, specifically 21.5 km of the G1503 Beltway in Jiading District, 19.5 km of the G2 Beijing-Shanghai Expressway, and 303 surface roads with a total length of 459.6 km in Jiading district, according to a report published by Shanghai Pudong New District's WeChat on 8 November 2022.
