Steel Dynamics to implement biocarbon-based green steel project at Mississippi site
Wood-based biocarbon will be used to replace anthracite at the company’s Columbus steel mini mill
US steel company Steel Dynamics announced via press release on 2 November that it had selected Columbus, Mississippi, as the location for its SDI Biocarbon Solutions project that will produce carbon bioproducts using sustainably sourced biomass.
