Nokian to set up new EUR650 million tire plant in Romania
The plant will produce 6 million passenger vehicle tires annually from 2025 primarily for the Central European market
Finnish tire manufacturer Nokian announced via press release on 1 November that its Board of Directors had made the decision to invest EUR650 million to set up a new greenfield passenger car tire factory in Oradea, north-west Romania.
