Faurecia presents sustainable alternative to animal leather
Faurecia to supply Ecorium to a major automaker’s compact to premium vehicle lineup
Faurecia announced that the company has been testing new bio-based materials as a lower carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions alternative to animal or polyvinyl chloride (PVC) synthetic leather for use in trim solutions on seats and to cover surfaces of the vehicle interior such as the instrument panel, door panel or center console, it said in a press release on 11 October.
