Infineon, Cerence partner to codevelop ‘hearing car’ to detect emergency vehicles
The emergency siren detection system provides a complementary detection modality for autonomous vehicles and enhances their perception capabilities
In a press release on 29 October 2022, Infineon Technologies announced that it is working with Cerence to build a solution based on automotive qualified XENSIV MEMS microphones from Infineon and Cerence Emergency Vehicle Detection (EVD) software.
