Excess HBI produced at H2GS’s upcoming 2.1-million-ton DRI plant is expected to be supplied to Kobe’s steel mills

Swedish green steel startup H2 Green Steel (H2GS) announced via press release on 11 October that it will be partnering with American direct reduction specialist Midrex to set up the world’s first 100% green hydrogen-based direct iron reduction (DRI) plant.
