Sony Group-Honda Motor JV to begin delivering EVs in the US from 2026
Sony and Honda had signed an MoU for strategic alliance in mobility earlier in March 2022; later in June 2022, the two companies signed a JV agreement to establish Sony Honda Mobility
Sony Honda Mobility Inc. (SHM), the joint venture between Japan’s electronics major Sony Group and carmaker Honda Motor Company, announced on 13 October 2022 that it plans to begin accepting orders for its debut electric cars in 2025, with the first customer deliveries expected in early 2026 in the US.
