StoreDot achieves 1,000 cycles of XFC battery cells in production-ready EV form factor
StoreDot’s performance goal for 2022 was to reach 1,000 cycles of consecutive XFC of 10–80% in 10 minutes, with an energy density of at least 300 Wh/Kg
Israel-based extreme fast charging (XFC) battery startup StoreDot said on 11 October 2022 that the company’s in-house developed battery cells have exceeded 1,000 cycles in production ready EV form factor, suggesting a superior performance when compared to currently available lithium-ion EV batteries.
