California zero emissions mandate hard to meet, says Toyota Motor president
The California Air Resources Board had earlier approved the mandate to achieve 100% electrification of cars, pickup trucks, SUVs, and other light vehicles by 2035
California's new zero-emission requirements, which bans the sale of gas-powered cars from 2035, will be hard to meet, Toyota Motor President Akio Toyoda said, according to a news report published by Nikkei Asia on 30 September 2022.
