LG Electronics, LG Energy Solution to equally bear GM Chevy Bolt EV recall costs
LG Electronics had agreed to pay up to USD1.9 billion in compensating the damages to GM in 2021
LG Electronics and LG Energy Solutions (LGES) reached a final agreement on Monday to equally split the global recall–related costs of the General Motors’ Chevrolet Bolt EV, a report filed by ET Auto said on 25 July 2022, citing the regulatory filing by the South Korean companies at the Korea Stock Exchange headquarters.
