Livent signs multi-year lithium hydroxide offtake agreement with General Motors
The hydroxide will be refined in the US using carbonate feed sourced from lithium extracted from Argentinian brines.
US automaker General Motors (GM) announced via press release on 26 July that it had entered into a long-term sourcing agreement for battery-grade lithium hydroxide with US chemical manufacturing company Livent.
