GravitHy to set up USD2.3-billion green steel raw material plant in France by 2027
The new plant will manufacture 2 million tons per year of hydrogen-reduced iron for supply to green steel manufacturers.
French energy company Energie announced via a press release on 30 June that consortium GravitHy will mobilize USD2.3 billion's (EUR2.2 billion's) worth of investment to commission a new direct reduced iron (DRI) plant in the area of Fos sur Mer, southern France.
