Audi plans to produce electric drives for VW’s MEB ECO platform in Hungary
Audi Hungary plans to set up a new facility to produce new electric drives; production is expected to start in 2025 in Győr
Audi’s Hungary unit plans to produce electric drives for Volkswagen’s new MEB ECO platform (modular electric-drive toolkit), which is aimed at the development of VW Group’s small-sized electric cars, the company said in a press announcement on 21 June 2022. The company said that it plans to set up a new manufacturing facility for the production of new electric drives. The production operations are expected to start in 2025 in Győr, it added.
