BMW builds new USD2.2 billion factory in China to accelerate EV production
The new plant increases BMW’s annual production capacity at the Shenyang factory to 830,000 units
German luxury carmaker BMW has set up a new EV manufacturing plant in Shenyang, China as part of its capacity expansion drive to accelerate the production of EVs in the world’s largest EV market, the company announced on 23 June 2022.
