TotalEnergies, Hubject, alpitronic pilot test ‘Plug&Charge’ solution in France

With Plug&Charge, EV drivers no longer need to physically use a credit card, mobility card, or mobile application to pay for their charging sessions

Oil and gas company TotalEnergies and its partners Hubject and alpitronic have reported a successful pilot run of their ‘Plug&Charge’ solution at the St Mathurin service station in France, TotalEnergies said on 13 June 2022. The pilot run, which was conducted on 8 June, deployed a unique technology that facilitates the user experience by making quick payment easier, faster and significantly more secure.
