Application of the polyamide prevents an EV’s charge controller from overheating and catching on fire

German chemical company Lanxess announced via press release on 9 June that German supplier of automotive, industrial, and solar electrics Leopold Kostal GmbH & Co. KG had manufactured the cooling element of an electric vehicle’s charge controller using its Durethan BTC965FM30 polyamide 6 (PA6) plastic.
