Bühler supplies megacasting cells to Volvo’s Torslanda plant
The cells are expected to be used to manufacture the aluminum BIWs of Volvo’s 2025 EV range
Swiss industrial machinery manufacturing company Bühler announced via press release on 19 May that Swedish automaker Volvo had purchased two of its Carat 840 high pressure die casting (HPDC, aka. megacasting) cells for its factory in Torslanda, Sweden.
