Ford commits to 10% of steel and aluminum purchases to be near-zero carbon by 2030
The OEM expects to build a net-zero economy by driving investments in innovative clean energy technologies
Detroit automaker Ford announced via press release on 25 May that it was committing to purchase a minimum of near-zero carbon neutral steel and aluminum by 2030 as part of its new membership within the First Movers Coalition global initiative.
