Faurecia to invest USD147 million in new interiors plant in Mexico

New plants will expand existing footprint in Mexico and gain higher access to operations in Southern US

Faurecia, a Forvia Group company has announced an investment of USD147 million to construct a new shared plant in Nuevo Leon, Mexico, that will have instrument panels, production lines for other interior modules, technologies and processes such as plastic injection, vibration welding, ultrasonic welding, and assembly, based on renewable energy technologies, MexicoNow reported on 19 May.
